Please Vote Old Books on Front St. for “best local book store” in Encore Best of Wilmington contest.

In addition, we more than quality for the 25 years or older category - we have been family owned and operated since 1982!!!

So here is the official plea for your vote:

1. As stated above Family Owned and Operated since 1982 (or as we like to say it: “Connecting good people with good books since 1982”)
2. Largest selection of theatre and film books and scripts in the city
3. Home of “the hand silk screened, organic fair trade cotton bags - the thread was rescued from the heights of the Himalayas by Sherpas and personally hand-woven for you by Gwenyfar.”
4. Books in over 15 languages - comprising the largest foreign language selection in the area.
5. Scrabble every Monday Night
6. Knit Wits! A great crafting group every Tues. Night
7. Banned Books Club
8. Potent Readables Book Club
9. Over 10,000 books for $5.00 each or less!
10. Over 1 mile of books in down town Wilmington (more than 150,000 books on display floor)
